At MSquare Granite Industries we deal with only those traders who hold ISO9000
certification. The business operates on the modern principles of Total Quality
Management were quality is checked on every stage of the production process.
Our team of engineers and experienced stonemasons work on site to ensure
you get the right product within in the right lead-time.
Stage 1: The Quarry
The stone is extracted directly from the quarry. At this stage the stone
is in the RAW state. The quality of the stone needs to be checked and
assessed to make sure there are no external particles embedded in the
rock over the period of time.
Stage 2: Rough Blocks
Block is cut and is moved to production units. The block is now cut using
sulphur (dynamite) and checked for cracks and stress fractures by engineers.
Stress fractures are faults that may lead up to future problems in the
finished product.
Stage 3: Production Units
The Raw block is now moved to the production units. The gangsaw machines
are used to cut the raw slab to different thickness depending on the nature
of the product in manufacture. A material test is completed on the slab
to identify compound composition, durability, flexibility and natural
strength. This basically identifies the nature of the outcome for the
different product range.
Stage 4: End Product
The manufacture process begins and the finished product is reviewed and
tested by the quality manager. The quality is checked and measurements
are re-drawn for final check.
Stage 5: Packing & Shipping
The product is finally packed and shipped to respective location.
